BETHLEHEM (June 13, 2023) – State Senator Lisa M. Boscola announced today that the PA Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) awarded five grants totaling $1,317,882 to local non-profits and county governments throughout the Lehigh Valley.
“These investments into our communities will help improve the quality of life, provide assistance in the treatment of individuals with substance abuse and aid our counties in the administration of our criminal justice systems,” Senator Boscola stated. “I am particularly pleased to see the Wilson Area LINCS Family Center receive funding as they continue their efforts to provide resources to raise healthy children and enhance the quality of life for all residents in the Wilson Area School District.”
Grants through the programs listed below were approved today by PCCD:
State Violence & Delinquency Prevention Program
- Wilson Area LINCS Family Center, Inc: Wilson Area Communities That Care Coalition, $200,000
FY2023-2024 Intermediate Punishment Treatment Program Initiative
- Lehigh County: TCAP-Intermediate Punishment Treatment Program, $660,000
- Northampton County: Northampton County IP Program FY 23-24, $265,000
Substance Abuse Education and Demand Reduction Funds – Category 1, Adult Focus
- Luke’s Hospital: Expanding Access for OUD & SUD Impacted Patients, $147,882
Paul Coverdell Forensic Science Improvement Funds
- Lehigh County: Lehigh County Coroner Toxicology Analyzer, $45,000
