BETHLEHEM (April 28, 2025) – State Senator Lisa M. Boscola announced today that Northampton Community College and Lehigh Carbon Community College were awarded a total of $1,860,161 in grant funding for their dual credit programs, which allow high school students to take college courses and earn both college and high school credit.
“Dual credit programs have been very successful in increasing college readiness, college attendance, and college attainment,” Boscola stated. “This funding to our region’s community colleges, therefore, is a prudent investment to improve educational opportunities and achievement that allows students to better prepare for successful careers.”
