Bethlehem, May 21, 2024 – – State Senator Lisa Boscola today announced state funding totaling $2,814,118 for projects in Northampton County through the Local Share Account – Northampton and Lehigh Counties and the Local Share Account-Monroe County.
"A través de la aprobación de estos fondos estatales, las comunidades podrán acelerar importantes proyectos que mejorarán la calidad de vida y aumentarán la seguridad de la comunidad", dijo Boscola. Las cuentas de participación local (LSA) fueron creadas por la Ley de Desarrollo y Juego de Carreras de Caballos de Pensilvania. Los fondos son generados por las instalaciones de juego del estado y pueden utilizarse para proyectos de desarrollo económico, desarrollo comunitario e interés público en los condados de Northampton, Lehigh y Monroe y sus condados contiguos.
Las subvenciones han sido aprobadas hoy por la Junta de la Autoridad de Financiación del Estado en Harrisburg.
